Telling two workspaces apart meant reading their names. Managing one meant hunting through a popover menu. Both are fixed.
Workspace avatars
Upload a picture — a workspace can now have its own avatar, set from the new Workspace settings tab. Owners only.
Everywhere it matters — the picture shows in the workspace switcher, in the list of workspaces you can switch to, in the members list, and on the invitation page someone sees before they join.
A colour when there is no picture — workspaces without an avatar get generated initials on a colour derived from the workspace itself, so they stay distinguishable at a glance.
A settings tab for the workspace
Workspace management used to live in the switcher's row menu. It now has its own tab in Settings, reachable from Workspace in the sidebar or Edit in the switcher menu.
Avatar and name in one place, both owner-only.
Members are managed inline in the tab — invite by email, see seats used, and remove people — rather than in a separate dialog.
Danger zone — delete the workspace, or leave it if you are a member, with the same confirmation as before.
Members see the tab too, read-only, with the roster and their own Leave workspace action.
Switcher menu
The row menu is now Edit and Delete (or Leave workspace for a member). Renaming moved into the settings tab, so the menu no longer turns a row into a text field, and hovering the actions button or the shared-workspace icon now explains what they do.
Docs
Help Center: Workspaces and Sharing a workspace with other people were updated — both described the old Members and Rename menu entries, which no longer exist. Getting started still said Notez was single-user, which it has not been since v0.3.0.
