What's new

Every shipped change, ordered newest first.

  1. 0.20.0

Type @ in a note to add a reminder, once or on a schedule, and see your reminders next to every date property on the new Calendar page. AI chat and connected assistants can read the calendar too.

  2. 0.18.0

Every note menu now has Copy link. Paste the link into Claude, ChatGPT or AI chat and the assistant opens that note directly, in whichever workspace it lives. Note links also open the right note in the app, and CLI keys reach only what the CLI does.

  3. 0.17.0

Add Notez to Claude, ChatGPT, VS Code or Claude Code with one URL and a sign-in, no API key. Choose read only or read and write, reach every workspace from one connection, and disconnect apps from Settings → Security.

  4. 0.13.0

Paste images and files while editing a note's title in the list and they are added to the note. Also: custom properties in workspace settings, and property names on hover.

  5. 0.12.0

Paste images and files into a board column's quick-add box: the first image shows as the card's cover before you even press Enter. Also: the new note dialog no longer loses a file you save mid-upload.

  6. 0.10.0

Workspace owners can give AI chat standing instructions for every member, and everyone can add their own on top. Also: a collapsed sidebar that still does everything, and page layout and text size for every page.

  7. 0.9.0

AI chat now knows which screen you have open and can read a whole board. "What are my tasks today?" answers from the board in front of you, and list_notes gained column, property, and date filters.

  8. 0.8.0

Any select, member, relation, or board property can now be a sidebar section — one click to filter, with live counts. Pins are Favorites, the top of the sidebar stays put, and J and K work inside a board column.

  9. 0.7.0

AI chat and the MCP server now offer the same 18 tools. Both can delete, pin, and re-file notes, and create them already nested — and moving a note no longer breaks the breadcrumbs of the notes underneath it.

  10. 0.6.0

Clicking a note now opens it in a resizable side panel over the list, so your scroll position, filters, and board columns survive. J and K move through the list, and the sidebar can be collapsed with ⌘.

  11. 0.5.0

A new Member property type puts the people in your workspace onto your notes — filter a list down to one person, sort by assignee, and see avatars on every card.
