Shared workspaces have held more than one person since v0.3.0. Now your notes can say which one.
Member properties
Member is a new custom property type — the eleventh — whose values are the people in your workspace. Create an Assignee, Owner, or Reviewer property and pick from the workspace roster.
Pick one or more people per note; search the picker by name or email
Values render as avatar chips on note cards, in Table view, and on the note itself
Filter a list down to the notes assigned to one person, or to several
Sort by a member property — by name, with unassigned notes last
Show it as a column in Table view alongside your other properties
Because it is a property rather than a special field, it works everywhere properties already work — the filter popover, the sort menu, the column picker — with no new concepts to learn.
When someone leaves
Removing a member from a workspace — or their leaving — now clears their values on member properties in that workspace, in the same step. A name left behind would point at somebody who can no longer open the note, and the filter only ever lists current members, so those notes could never be found again. Notes they wrote stay exactly where they are.
Consistency pass on chips
Tags, board columns, and select options now render as their coloured chip everywhere, instead of a coloured dot beside plain text — in the filter popover, the custom-properties overview, and the Manage columns dialog. People show as avatars in the same places.

AI chat can read who is assigned to a note, but assigning is done in the app — chat has no way to look up the people in your workspace
Not in this release: an "assigned to me" filter, boards grouped by assignee, and notifications when you are assigned. The blog post explains which of those are hard and which are simply next.
