Tags have always had a sidebar section. Now any property whose values are a fixed set of things can have one too.
Sidebar sections
Show a property in the sidebar. Open More → Custom properties, select a select, multi-select, member, or relation property, and switch on Show in sidebar. It appears below Tags as its own section: one row per option, person, or linked note, each with a count of live notes.
Click to filter. A row writes the same filter the Filter popover does, so the two always agree and Clear clears both. Two rows in one section combine with OR; sections with each other with AND.
The built-ins join in. Tags is shown by default and can now be hidden. Board lists its columns and is off by default. Both are toggled from their locked rows in the same dialog.
Remove from the sidebar. Hover a section's header, click the settings button that appears, and choose Remove from sidebar. The property itself is untouched.
Relation sections list the ten most-linked live notes, most-linked first; member sections list the whole roster. Text, number, date, checkbox, URL, email, and phone properties stay in the popover, where their inputs live.
Sidebar layout
New note and Home stay fixed at the top, and Files, Bin, Settings, and More at the bottom. Only the sections in between scroll.
The notes link is now Home. The page heading still reads All notes.
Import, Custom properties, Integrations, and Shortcuts sit under a More toggle that opens upward, so the trigger stays put. Settings opens straight onto the Workspace tab; the separate Workspace entry is gone.
Favorites
Pinned notes are Favorites everywhere you see them, with a star button in the note header and an amber filled star as the indicator. The sidebar section appears only while it has something in it.
Starring a note no longer shows a toast — the star and the section already show the result.
The single-letter
PandDcard shortcuts are gone. Favorite and Delete live in the card menu;⌘⌫still bins a multi-selection.
Side panel
With a card open from the board,
JandKnow step through that card's column. They used to be hidden on the board. The panel's header shows the parent path only, instead of repeating the note's own title as a breadcrumb.
Look
The primary colour is now blue rather than violet, across the app, the landing page, and the icons.
Lighter list toolbars, and select, multi-select, and board options render as coloured chips in their pickers, as they already did everywhere else.
Fixed
The collapsed sidebar's border, which is how you drag it back open, had stopped taking clicks.
Worth knowing
Counts in sidebar sections exclude binned notes. A select property with no options, or a relation nobody has linked to yet, stays hidden until it has something to show.
