Shared reminders
In a shared workspace, a reminder can remind several people. Whoever adds it is reminded; anyone else clicks the chip, then Remind me too, and Stop reminding me takes them off. You add or remove only yourself.
The chip shows the avatars of everyone it reminds. A chip that doesn't remind you says Click to edit or get reminded too when you point at it.
Anyone who can edit the note can change the date or delete the chip, and the change applies to everyone it reminds. Undo or a version restore brings a deleted chip back with the same people.
The Calendar page, the private calendar link, AI chat and MCP's
get_calendarshow the reminders that remind you.A chip's settings are redrawn: Time and Repeat labelled on the left, Remove at the bottom left, and in a shared workspace the people and Remind me too at the bottom right.
Why it works this way: Shared reminders in a team note.
Reminder copies and daily limits
Copies of a reminder in one note, with the same date, time and repeat, send one notification and show as one item on the calendar. Before, holding down ⌘V after copying a chip filled a note with copies, and each sent its own notification and email.
Each person gets at most 20 reminder notifications a day from one note and 50 a day in all, counted over the last 24 hours; the old limit was 100 an hour. Past either limit, a reminder sends nothing, no email included, and isn't sent later.
Busy days on the calendar
A day with more than four items shows three and +N more, so its row of the month keeps its height. Click it and the day opens over the calendar; items in it can still be dragged to another day.
Export a workspace
More → Import & export → Export downloads every note in the workspace as Markdown files with their attachments, in a .zip. Tags, board columns and properties go at the top of each file, and sub-notes sit in a folder named after their parent. Unzipped, the folder opens in Obsidian as a vault. Any member can export a workspace. The download stays for 7 days, and Notez notifies you when it's ready. See Export your workspace.
Import from Obsidian or Markdown
The Import tab has a third source, Obsidian / Markdown: a zipped Obsidian vault or any folder of Markdown files. Files in a folder become sub-notes of the note named after it, [[links]] become note links, and tags, creation dates and linked images come along. A Notez export imports back the same way. See Import notes from Notion, Evernote or Obsidian.
