v0.2.0 — Capture, faster

v0.2.0New featureDenis Povarov

A small release focused on the first three seconds of a note.

Capture

  • Enter creates — in the search box, the Create note "…" suggestion is highlighted by default, so ↵ saves what you typed. ↑ ↓ picks a recent search instead; ⌘↵ still saves with or without the suggestions. On mobile, Enter stays neutral and the pen button saves.

  • Search status — the suggestions show Searching…, then N notes found or No notes found; the page title says the same while a query is active.

  • ⌘V saves instantly — pasting with nothing focused no longer opens the dialog. Text becomes a note, a bare URL a bookmark, images and files (up to 10 per paste) a note with attachments; an image shows on the card.

  • Capture from the Bin — the create row, ⌘↵, the pen button, and "Save as note" work in the Bin too; the toast says the note went to All notes.

  • Longer quick capture — the limit is 200,000 characters (was 10,000). Over that, the new-note dialog opens with the full text; nothing is trimmed silently.

  • Recent searches are remembered when you leave the search box rather than on Enter.

Undo

  • Every capture toast has Undo and Open. Undo moves the note to the Bin.

  • ⌘Z undoes captures as well — on the note's own page it takes you back to the list.
